Home Automation

Smart Home Integration

We at Luxe Smart Homes are highly experienced in delivering a Home Automation platform that is tailored to your exact requirements and one that simplifies multiple tasks into one button click that works time and time again. We believe every system should begin with a user interface that is simple to understand and intuitive to use. We can elaborate on the system further down the line or if you have specific automations you would like from the outset. Our experience working alongside other subcontractors such as electricians, heating, air conditioning and security engineers has enabled us to deliver highly reliable systems in high-end residential homes.

We specialise in Lutron and Control4 home automation control systems and have been recognised within their 'Circle of Excellence’ Partners.

Control 4 System Devices

Control Systems

A centralised control system is required to manage all the control requirements and automations from the standalone devices. A central processor is therefore required, which acts as the 'brain' of the system. The homeowner can then use Touchscreens, remote controllers and lighting keypads to trigger a command, whether that is turning on your home entertainment system in your media room or adjusting your climate control using your heating or air conditioning systems.

Smart Home Control

Having control over all the technology in a high-end residential home is an absolute necessity, not just a 'nice to have.' Due to the large number of devices that control differing parts of the home, integrating the sub-systems into one easy-to-use platform requires a great deal of planning and experience in execution.

A typical large residential home could have around ten-twelve audio amplifiers or streaming devices, seven-eight televisions and media players (Sky Q, Apple TV, Nvidia Shield, Roku), thirty-forty lighting keypads, twenty heating thermostats, eight air conditioning units, sixteen video cameras and two-door entry units. These devices require being organised coherently so the network manages clear communication between the central processor and devices. When we visit a home that has a poorly performing Home Automation system, it is usually the case that little planning or design had been considered when integrating all of the devices as mentioned above.
